When Dean Arnold got his first job, he was miserable (痛苦的), Each time he went to work, he coughed and he couldn't breathe. Working in a bakery(面包房) when you are allergic to (对…过敏) flour can be painful.
But Arnold stayed with the National Biscuit Company for ten years. He was a businessman and he helped them improve production. At last his health problems became too serious. He left and formed his own company.
With his wife and mother, he founded Arnold Bakery. They tried new recipes (配方). changing the kind and amount of flour used. This enabled Arnold to work there without too much pain. The bread, made with unbleached flour (标准粉), was baked in a brick oven (烘炉).
They began by baking two dozen loaves. The bread was sold door to door for fifteen cents a loaf. Winning customers to his unusual, old-fashioned bread took time. But Arnold, struggling against his allergy, built his bakery into one of the largest in the United States.
Many children like to go hiking(徒步旅行). Why? Because they can be free from school and their homework. They can also enjoy beautiful nature, play with friends or family. If you want to have a happy hike, you must pay attention to the following:
First, find a good day. Fine weather is the most important for a happy hike. If the weather is good, you can do a lot of things, like riding horses, going bike riding, swimming in the river, flying kites and playing ball games.
Second, go with the people you like. If you go hiking with the people you don't like, you won't have a great time. So, find the person who has the same interest as you.
Third, find the right place. Different people have different ideas about the places. For me, I would like to go to the beach for a hike. I like to walk along the beach, listening to the sound of the sea and watch children playing.
Lastly, think of what you need to prepare before going hiking. To have a nice hike, you must have comfortable shoes, enough water and some food. Now you can go hiking!

The man gave the driver 100 dollars again and going home tomorrow. The driver was happy because he liked the man and above all, 100 dollars a day was a lot of money. "So you're going home. Where do you come from?" he asked. "I come from New York." "New York!" said the driver. "I have a sister in New York. Her name is Nancy. Do you know her?" "Of course I know her. She gave me 200 dollars for you."
The giant panda Ya Ya arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on April 27，2023 from Memphis，Tennessee.
In April 2003，as part of the US﹣China giant panda protection and research program，Ya Ya arrived at the Memphis Zoo in Tennessee with another panda Le Le. At first，the agreement for Ya Ya's stay in the US was for 10 years. But later it increased to 20 years.
During their time at Memphis Zoo，Ya Ya and Le Le helped scientists do many researches. These researches let people know the importance of pandas.
Last month a vetand a keeper from the Beijing Zoo reached the Memphis Zoo. "To look after Ya Ya well after she returns to China，we also learn some ways and orders for behavior training from US keepers at Memphis，" said the Beijing Zoo keeper sent to Memphis. Beijing Zoo also made many preparations to welcome Ya Ya back，including providing care plans，medical support and fresh foods.
The 23﹣year﹣old panda，Ya Ya finally returned to China from the United States after a 20﹣year loan （租借）. Many Chinese people even cried when they heard that Ya Ya returned to China. Ya Ya is so smart and cute. We believe that she'll have a happy life in China.
